Dnes bylo oznámeno, že posledním dnem provozu by mohlo být pondělí 30.6.2008 s posledním vyzdobeným trolejbusem.

Odpoledne budou dva květinami ozdoběné trolejbusy v normálním provozu na lince 31 Claraplatz-Habermatten.

Trolejbusy Neoplan převezme rumunský operátor.

It was announced today that the last day of operation would be Monday 30 June with the last (decorated) trolleybus at 8pm.

That afternoon two trolleybuses decorated with flowers were to be in normal service on the 31 Claraplatz-Habermatten service.

From 15.00 - 19.00 an additional two trolleybuses were scheduled to be in operation whilst from 14.00 - 18.00 a trolleybus was to be parked outside the BVB head Office in Claragraben 55 and open to closer inspection.

The two decorated vehicles were expected to operate the last electric journey to Habermatten at around 20.00 and then return to Rank Depot.

The Neoplan trolleybuses will be disposed of to a Romanian operator where the current sophisticated equipment would be removed and replaced by simpler controls.
