Na žiadosť mesta Hong Kong Scania doručí dva zo svojich vylepšených trojnápravových double-deckerov.

Scania a hong-kongský autobusový dopravca - spoločnosť KMB /Kowloon Motor Bus Company/ spolu vyvinuli autobus, ktorý bude dokonale vyhovovať podmienkam dopravy vo veľkomeste. Autobus patrí do typového radu mestských autobusov Scanie, ktoré ťažia zo svojho dizajnu. Nové autobusy pre Hong Kong boli v skúšobnej prevádzke v švédskom meste Södertälje. Autobusy Scania jazdia po ázijských cestách od roku 1960, od začiatku osemdesiatych rokov jazdia aj v samotnom Hong Kongu. Počas týchto rokov Scania predala okolo 35 000 nákladných vozidiel a okolo 5 000 autobusov. V samotnom Hong Kongu v súčasnosti jazdí asi 500 autobusov Scania, pričom z toho je 25 double-deckerov. Dubajský dopravce Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) z Arabských emirátů objednal bezmála 400 městských autobusů NEOPLAN s dodáním převážně v roce 2008. Přelomovou zakázku vyhrála NEOMAN Bus Group zastoupená místním importérem United Motors & Heavy Equipment Co. Předseda představenstva RTA Mattar Al Tayer představil svoje plány v dubnu 2007 v Dubaji společně s Joachimem Dürrem a Martinem Scharrerem z vedení NEOMAN Bus. NEOPLAN buduje svoji reputaci po 30 let dodávkami letištních autobusů do Dubaje - 21 vozů nejnovějšího typu je částí 130 vozové flotily. Jedním z důvodů pro rozhodnutí RTA byl i unikátní atraktivní design, který přidá Dubajským ulicím více lesku. Všechny dodávané autobusy NEOPLAN Centroliner jsou dodávané jako nízkopodlažní s rampou pro vozíčkáře a kneelingem s motorem MAN D20 Euro 4 s technologií MAN PUREdiesel. 170 ze cca 400 busů bude nově vyvinutý 4.3 metrů vysoký Centroliner DD double-decker. Vozy budou postaveny v závodě NEOPLAN v Plavně a Pilstingu. Zakázka zahrnuje také 150 18.75 m kloubových autobusů Centroliner GL a 75 sólo vozidel. Ty vyrobí závody v Polsku a v Salzgitteru. Vozidla jsou vybavena lépe než jejich evropské ekvivalenty např. specielní klmatizací, chlazením motoru, systémem hašení v prostoru motoru, vzduchovými "záclonami" ve dveřích. Skleněnou stěnou je oddělená přední část pro ženy a děti se speciálním designem. Autobusy jsou osazeny informačními elektronickými tabulemi a LCD monitory s informacemi i reklamou. Zakázka je částí kompletní restrukturalizace veřejné dopravy v Dubaji s 2.6 miliony obyvatel. Autobusová flotila by se měla během 5 let zdvojnásobit - na 1200 v roce 2008 a 1900 do konce roku 2009. Restrukturalizace zahrnuje i vyýstavbu ultramoderních autobusových dep. MAN Middle East FZCO, založený MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG a MAN Ferrostaal in Dubai in 2006, bude obsluhovat 15 zemí a pro nejblližší období plánuje zdvojnásobení obratu. The order was won for the NEOMAN Bus Group by Dubai-based by the local importer United Motors & Heavy Equipment Co. and marks a milestone in the international growth strategy of the MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Group. The chairman of RTA management, His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, presented the plans on April 4, 2007 in Dubai together with the head of the Managing Board of NEOMAN Bus, Joachim Dürr, and Martin Scharrer, member of the Managing Board for Sales and Marketing. "This is an important order for the company, a significant contribution to our growth objective of selling ten thousand buses annually by 2010. We're especially proud of the fact that RTA opted for the NEOPLAN brand, which has a very good reputation here in Dubai", remarked Dürr during the announcement of the purchase. NEOPLAN has built this reputation over the past 30 years by supplying airport buses to Dubai. The 21 units of the latest model are now part of the current 130-vehicle fleet at Dubai International Airport. Furthermore, RTA declares in a statement that the “uniquely attractive design” of the vehicles was one reason for the decision, “adding more splendour to Dubai’s streets”. The buses to be delivered are all low-floor and with wheelchair ramps of the type NEOPLAN Centroliner with MAN D20 common-rail Euro 4 engines and MAN PUREdiesel technology, new to the desert nation as is the modern low-floor design with a kneeling function. 170 of the some 400 buses will be newly developed Centroliner DD double-deckers, which are about 4.3 meters high and consequently offer much appreciated headroom on the upper deck too (seating for 49 upstairs and 28 downstairs). The vehicles will all be built at the German NEOPLAN works in Plauen and Pilsting. The order also includes 150 Centroliner GL articulated buses with a length of 18.75 meters and seating for 48 persons. NEOMAN is the only producer offering this maximum-length articulated bus. The order is completed by 75 Centroliner solo buses with seating for 34 persons. The works in Poland and Salzgitter are a proven combination in producing these low-floor single-deckers. The vehicles are much better equipped than the equivalents in Central Europe, featuring an especially powerful, tropicalized air-conditioning system for instance. Added to this, there is extra insulation in the engine compartment and underfloor, an additional radiator above the standard one for improved engine cooling, a fire extinguisher system in the engine compartment, plus air curtains at the doors, similar to these in modern shopping malls. Another speciality is the front compartments for women and children, separated off by glass walls and occupying the first three rows of seats, and also with a different interior design to the rest of a bus. The vehicles offer IBIS-capable LCD or LED route information displays and are ready for wireless and WLAN. Extra LCD screens in the interior feature information about the bus line and advertising. The order is part of the complete restructuring of Dubai's Public Transport system with its 2.6 million inhabitants, and also aims at longterm service cooperation with the producer. The bus fleet is to be doubled within five years (to 1200 buses in 2008 and 1900 by the end of 2009), expanding the public transport network by some 30%. This will also involve building ultra-modern bus depots, capable of handling as many as 250 buses. MAN Middle East FZCO, established by MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG and MAN Ferrostaal in Dubai in 2006, will serve 15 countries as a regional hub for commercial vehicles and additionally promote industrial plant business. 8.4.2007: Tři dny s turistickými autokary Iveco Irisbus ve Vysokém Mýtě Po sérii prezentací turistických autobusů Irisbus Iveco na konci roku 2006 následuje možnost jejich praktického testování. Ve třech dnech se s nabídkou tohoto segmentu mohou seznámit zástupci společností, které se na zájezdovou dopravu specializují. Z prvního dne přineseme reportáž během velikonočního víkendu. Společnost Volvo Buses obdržela zakázku na 113 nízkoemisních městských autobusů Volvo od mezinárodního dopravce Veolia, který operuje v různých oblastech Nizozemí. 75 autobusů Volvo 7700 jsou 12 metrové a 38 18 metrové, kloubové. Autobusy jsou vybaveny devítilitrovým dieselovým motorem SCR s nízkými emisemi a menší spotřebou. Vozidla budou jezdit v Brabantsku v jižním Nizozemí. Order for 113 Volvo city buses in the Netherlands Volvo Buses has received an order for 113 low-emission city buses from Volvo’s international customer Veolia, with presence in different area’s in the Netherlands. The order for 113 buses is the largest single order so far for Volvo Buses in the Netherlands. The entire order comprises Volvo’s city bus model, the Volvo 7700. 75 of the buses are 12-meter models and the remaining 38 are 18-meter articulated buses. The buses are equipped with Volvo’s new 9-liter diesel engine with the SCR technology, which gives the buses lower emissions and lower fuel consumption then before. Veolia has chosen for Volvo again based on their good experiences, the attractive life-cycle costs and the flexible delivery possibilities. The ordered buses will be used in the Brabant province in southern Netherlands. Výstava Transport 2007 představila 15 % autobusů, 40 % kamionů a zbytek byl servisní nářadí, pneumatiky a obvykl doplňkový sortiment. Irisbus Iveco vystavoval autobus Arway z Vysokého Mýta, v dánské premiéře se představilo několik autobusů od Mercedes-Benz a MAN. Na výstavišti bylo velice mnoho návštěvníků - zajímavé je, že se návštěvník zaregistruje a má vstupenku zdarma. From over 2,500 products entered just 42 were awarded this quality seal for outstanding design. In 2005 the NEOPLAN Starliner and the NEOPLAN Trendliner had already won the “red dot design award“. The latest award is thus already the ninth design accolade since 2001 for buses of the MAN or NEOPLAN brands. The internationally renowned jury of experts voted for the NEOPLAN Cityliner from 2548 entries received from 43 countries and awarded the coveted quality mark for sophisticated and innovative design. The jury from the design centre in North Rhine Westphalia judged the products which were entered according to various criteria such as innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics, symbolic and emotional content and the self-explanatory aspect of the product. Po zakázce společnosti Veolia Transport na 185 autobusů Ambassador v Limbursku následuje druhá velká zakázka pro severní Brabantsko, zahrnující 100 autobusů Ambassador ALE 120, a to 80 ve standardní a 20 v luxusní verzi. Autobusy na regionálních linkách budou vybaveny motory splňujícími EURO 5 v kombinaci s EEV filtrem, který dociluje velký pokles hodnot CO2, NOx, NHMC a částic. Autobusy budou dodány v červenci 2007. Ambassador ALE 120 je lehký autobus s nízkou spotřebou je určen pro pohodlnou veřejnou dopravu. Nabízí prostor pro celkem 80 sedících i stojících cestujících, je přístupný pro vozíčkáře a kočárky (LE + rampa). Ve standardní výbavě je klimatizace pro řidiče. Další pokračování volného seriálu o možné budoucnosti autobusových souprav na českých silnicích. Odbavení cestujících je řešitelné.

Sice zatím chybí to nejdůležitější - nabídka českého vleku - soupravy za české peníze u výrobce, který má odbyt na významné části českého trhu, ale pravděpodobně se také dočkáme, i když zatím nemůžeme ani naznačovat .... Zatím se velmi snažíme za podporu osobních vleků intervenovat u Ministerstva životního prostředí. Jeho podpora by byla pro tuto technologii při následném jednání na Ministerstvu dopravy o obnovení povolení provozu vleků povzbuzující. Zatím vyšlo: Návrat autobusů s vleky na české silnice - pokračujeme. Autobus s vlekem - v Innsbrucku opět běžná praxe. (CZ + EN) K problematice odbavení ve vleku Problematiku odbavení ve vlecích, kde není přítomen řidič lze řešit mnoha způsoby. Odbavení lze postavit jak na klasických papírových jízdenkách, tak na čipových kartách. Nepřítomnost řidiče skýtá jisté nebezpečí toho, že není přímá kontrola při nástupu předními dveřmi. To lze samozřejmě řešit nasazením nějaké technologie (např. turnikety) nebo použitím přepravní kontroly, tedy náhodnou kontrolou. Dle mého názoru je jen na dopravci, jakým způsobem bude chtít provádět kontrolu cestujících. Z hlediska technologie odbavovacích systémů jsme schopni i na tyto požadavky reagovat. Z odpovědí, které dorazily, jsme vynechali ty záporné, jakkoli se nám líbí kloubové autobusy i ty vysokokapacitní jako je Mercedes-Benz CapaCity, není to řešení zadaného úkolu. O švýcarském karosáři Hess již z minulých materiálů víme, cena švýcarského výrobku ovšem nebude pro českého dopravce akceptovatelná. Společnost MAN vyrábí autobusové soupravy ve spolupráci s firmou Göppel. Více na webových stránkách výrobce Stanislav Střeštík, MAN CZ Vyjádření dopravce: Na základě článků na BUSportálu jsem se samozřejmě nad využitím vleků v podmínkách firmy BOSÁK BUS, spol. s r.o. zamýšlel. Dovedu si představit nasazení jednoho autobusu s vlekem na naší lince 303730 Příbram-Dobříš-Nový Knín. Samostatnou kapitolou by bylo nasazení autobusů s vleky na linkách PID, které obsluhujeme, a kde by se jistě jejich využití našlo, ale to je otázka pro integrátora (ing.Vychodil problematiku PID na Busportálu již komentoval). Z uvedených článků k tomuto tématu je zřejmé, že umíme autobusy a vleky vyrobit, umíme odbavovat cestující ve vleku, umíme realizaci provozu technicky a organizačně zvládnout, ale jednu věc asi neumíme - zabránit poškozování vleků cestujícími vandaly. Podle mého názoru, bez přítomnosti nějakého "policajta" ve vleku nemá smysl se do tohoto staro-nového způsobu přepravy osob vůbec pouštět. Jednak z důvodu zajištění bezpečnosti cestujících a jednak samotného poškozování vozidla. Životnost vleků by jistě byla při současné agresivitě cestujících velice krátká.
