Bolechowo, 18.01.2007 - 18. ledna podepsali smlouvu na dodávku 50 nízkopodlažmích autobusů Solaris Urbino 12 představitelé varšavských Městských dopravních podnikú (Miejskiw Zakłady Autobusów) a společnosti Solaris Bus & Coach S.A. Autobusy v rámci kontraktu 45 mil. PZL budou dodány do konce prvního pololetí 2007. Klimatizované autobusy s motory DAF EURO 4 budou vybaveny odbavovacím zařízením se záznamem vstupu a výstupu. Systém EBS integruje ABS a ASR.

"Po dodání 50 Solaris Urbino bude už v autoparku MZA přes 400 autobusů této značky. Zahrneme-li do počtu i další soukromé dopravce, operující v oblasti Varšavy, bude po ulicích hlavního polského města jezdit přes 500 autobusů se zeleným jezevčíkem. 50 new Solaris Urbino buses ordered for Warsaw

Bolechowo, 1-22-2007 - On January 18, 2007, an agreement between the Warsaw Municipal Transportation Company (MZA) and Solaris Bus & Coach S. A. concerning the delivery of further low-floor city buses Solaris Urbino was signed. The 50 vehicles ordered at a total of 45 million PLN are to be delivered in the first half of 2007.

The new vehicles are powered by DAF engines which have been adapted to the strict Euro 4 emission standard. The air conditioning in the passenger area ensures additional comfort for the passengers. As an additional option, the Warsaw buses will be equipped with a passenger counting device, which allows counting entering and leaving passengers separately. These data are transmitted via radio signals.

As a standard, all buses ordered are equipped with an electronic brake system (EBS), incorporating the anti-blocking system (ABS), known from passenger cars, and the anti-skid system (ASR). This combination of solutions allows for a significantly enhanced road safety.

”Following this delivery, the MZA Warsaw fleet will include more than 40 vehicles from our production. Including all privately owned transportation companies driving Solaris buses, Warsaw will boast over 500 buses depicting the green badger dog. Beyond doubt, Warsaw is currently our largest purchaser.
