19.10.201 podepsali VDL Bus & Coach a Rabo Wielerploegen čtyřletý kontrakt o spolupráci. Součástí smlouvy byly cyklistickému týmu dodány 2 luxusní autokary Jonckheere. Ty budou zajišťovat pohodlnou dopravu a jsou vybaveny pro podporu týmu a posádky.

Oba 13.4m autokary jsou vybaveny relaxačním prostorem, kuchyní, sprchami, energii při stání vozu zajišťuje generátor. Speciálně velké jsou zavazadlové prostory s možností dopravy až 8 jízdních kol.

Rabo ProTeam s 27 profesionáními cyklisty participuje např. na UCI World Tour a je součástí světové elity už 15 let.

2 VDL coaches for Rabobank Cycling Team

On 19 October 2011, VDL Bus & Coach BV and Rabo Wielerploegen BV signed a four-year collaboration contract. As part of the agreement, two Jonckheere luxury coaches have since been delivered to the Rabobank Cycling Team. These coaches will provide exceptionally comfortable transport to each stage and are outfitted to provide the cyclists and support staff with every possible convenience.

Both Jonckheere coaches have a length of 13.4 metres and are completely customized to meet the stringent requirements of the Rabobank Cycling Team. The vehicles are superbly suited to provide the cyclists with the care they require during the competitions. Among other features, the design includes a relaxation room with luxurious armchairs and audiovisual equipment, a kitchen fitted with all the modern conveniences, along with showers and a changing room. A powerful generator provides air conditioning and power when the coach is not running. The extra large baggage compartment even includes a washing machine so the bike clothing can be washed while on the road, and the extra high floor provides space for up to eight bicycles below.

The Rabo ProTeam is the top class of the Rabobank Cycling Teams. The ProTeam, with 27 professional cyclists, participates in competitions such as the UCI World Tour and has already been among the world elite for fifteen years. Together with the Continental Team and the former junior team, the ProTeam has achieved more than 1,750 victories.
