(CZ + EN) VAN HOOL supplies 189 buses to the MIVB (public transportation authority in Brussels).
VAN HOOL obdržel potvrzení nové objednávky na 189 autobusů typu A330 od MIVB Brusel. Součástí dlouhodobého kontraktu uzavřeného v roce 2005 bylo již dodáno 127 autobusů téhož typu organizátoru veřejné dopravy v regionu Brusel v letech 2006 a 2007. Zakázka je v v těchto těžkých časech velmi důležitá.
Stejně jako u předchozích dodávek se jedná o dvoudvéřové vozy A330. Charakteristické pro vozidlo je umístění motoru vzadu vlevo. Autobusy mají motory MAN EEV. Autobusy poskytují standardní výhody - nízký vstup s nízkou podlahou po celé délce, široké dveře a panoramatická okna. Vzhled autobusů VAN HOOL pro veřejnou dopravu vznikl v roce 2001 a je stále moderní.
Autobusy budou dodány od listopadu 2009 do března 2011.

Just like the former deliveries, this batch of 189 buses is of the A330 two-door type. Characteristic of this vehicle is that the engine is located at the LH rear, which makes it possible to arrange a cosy sitting area at the RH rear.
The buses are driven by an MAN engine, that complies already now with the EEV standard (Enhanced Environmentally-friendly Vehicles) that is even more environmentally friendly than the Euro 5 emission standard becoming effective in Europe on October 1st, 2009.
Evidently, the vehicles offer all the advantages of modern public transportation buses: low entrance, wide door openings, full-length low floor, large panoramic windows and sound finishing. The look of this range of VAN HOOL public transportation buses, launched in 2001, is still state-of-the art and trendy.
The buses will be supplied as from November this year until March 2011.

VAN HOOL received confirmation of a new order of 189 A330 type buses for the MIVB in Brussels. As part of the long-term contract concluded in 2005, already 127 buses of the same type have been supplied to the public transportation authority of the Brussels region during 2006 and 2007.
