COMTRANS: the largest commercial vehicle show in 2011

Munich/Moscow, July 2011. The COMTRANS trade fair, which takes place from 13th - 17th September in Moscow, is the largest international commercial vehicle show in Europe this year. According to the organizers, Mediaglobe, more than 300 exhibitors from all regions in Russia as well as 11 other countries will be present at this leading trade fair for Eastern Europe. "For the first time since the start of COMTRANS eleven years ago, we will be using three halls at the modern Crocus trade fair facility with an exhibition area of over 45,000 square metres", explained fair director, Alexey Striganov. "Visitors can therefore look forward to a great exhibition and a wide range of new innovations and product presentations."

Russian market leader, Kamaz, has planned a big appearance and reserved very early on a 5,000 square metre stand. Apart from the Russian truck, bus, transporter and trailer manufacturers, all the leading European commercial vehicle producers along with numerous accessory and component suppliers will be presenting their new developments and current product ranges. In addition, the most important Chinese truck and bus manufacturers will be represented at the COMTRANS fair. COMTRANS has been included in the official fair calendar of the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) and takes place in future every other year on an alternating basis with the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show.
