Hispano at Busworld 2007: Citelis Way, premier presentation of Hispano and Irisbus Iveco

Hispano and Irisbus Iveco jointly present at Busworld Edition at Kortrijk on the Hispano stand an interesting vehicle development which will provide with no doubt efficient solutions for interurban transportation needs. The brand new model is the Citelis Way, a multi purpose concept between urban bus and intercity coach which offers numerous advantages for transport operators and maximum comfort for passengers.

This product combines the advantages of a built-up vehicle such as sophisticated design and high level of industrialization, with the flexible interior configuration and customization that one of the most relevant bodybuilders in Europe can provide.

Its external body configuration has been designed with elegant lines and modular elements in order to reduce maintenance costs. Also it has an exceptional durability due to the application of cataphoresis treatment against corrosion. To provide passengers a comfortable travel in short and medium distance routes, its interior concept combines the functionality of an urban bus along with the typical features of an intercity vehicle, integrating luggage racks. Also, a low floor platform makes access for disabled people easier.

Technical experts from both Hispano and Irisbus Iveco have been collaborating on this project with the objective of bringing a great and versatile product for the European market. In this sense, Hispano is expanding its product range with this new model, reinforcing Hispano´s international presence.

New Interior restyling of Divo GT 3.5


Another novelty presented by Hispano at Busworld will be the conceptual evolution of the interior in the DIVO GT 3.5 Coach.

The evolution of the vehicle’s exterior presented in the 2005 edition of Busworld in Kortrijk, which has received numerous positive reactions in the market since then, is now followed by a revolutionary interior design of the driver’s area as well as the saloon.

Driver’s Area

Ergonomics, Functionality and Design have been the basis for this new concept focused in using materials usually used in the automotive industry for improving the style and maintenance as well as creating more comfortable, ergonomic, and embracing spaces.

Interior Atmospheres

Hispano offers exclusive upholstery designs that along with diverse colors of integrated headrests and curtains combinations create different interior atmospheres for the passenger area. These exclusive designed atmospheres are named as Milano, Berlin, Cairo, Granada and Monaco. Hispano counted for implementing this project with the expertise of an exterior consultant coming from the automotive industry.

Hispano will showcase its habit model built for first time on Scania Low Entry Euro 4 chassis with 12.8 m. length, amplifying its depth range within its complete product range.
The vehicle was mainly designed to maximize its lifespan and ease its maintenance due to its new body structure which integrates on its general lines the maximum number of standardized elements for any of the chassis brands. The main characteristics are:
