V prosinci dodala společnost VDL Bus & Coach 185 autobusů Ambassador pro Veolia Transport Nizozemí, součást francouzské nadnárodní společnosti Veolia Environnement. K předání došlo v nizozemském Susteren. Zakázka byla zadána v červenci 2006 VDL Berkhof Heerenveen.

Ambassador

185 Ambassadorů je typu ALE 120. Lehký autobus s nízkou spotřebou je určen pro pohodlnou veřejnou dopravu. Nabízí prostor pro celkem 80 sedících i stojících cestujících, je přístupný pro vozíčkáře a kočárky a je vybaven klimatizací. Autobusy získají koncesi v oblasti Limburg.

Veolia Transport Nederland

Veolia Transport Nederland poskytuje kompletní nabídku cestujících na silnici, ve vodě i na kolejích. Zahrnuje městské a regionální autobusové linky, trajekty z Vlissingen do Breskens a železnici v oblasti Limburg z Naastrichtu do Kerkŕade a z Roermondu do Nijmegen. Společnost má více než 4000 zaměstnanců s obratem 231 mil. EUR v roce 2005. Vozový park zahrnuje 950 autobusů pro veřejnou dopravu - 244 z nich bylo dodáno VDL Bus & Coach.

185 Ambassadors for Veolia Transport Nederland

Last December, VDL Bus & Coach supplied 185 Ambassadors to Veolia Transport Nederland which is part of the French company Veolia Environnement. The transfer took place in Susteren (the Netherlands). The order was placed in July 2006 with VDL Berkhof Heerenveen.

Ambassador

The order was for 185 Ambassadors of the type ALE 120. This lightweight bus, with a relatively low fuel consumption, is focused on the transport in comfort of public transport passengers. The bus offers space for about 80 seated and standing passengers. The Ambassador ALE 120 is ideally accessible for wheelchair users and passengers with buggies due to the low-floor construction at the entry and exit doors. The buses are also fitted with an electrical wheelchair platform and air conditioning. The Ambassadors will be deployed in the Limburg concession.

Veolia Transport Nederland

Veolia Transport Nederland provides a complete range of passenger transport by road, water and rail. The activities of Veolia Transport Nederland include city and regional transport by bus, the ferry service from Vlissingen to Breskens and the train services in Limburg from Maastricht to Kerkrade and Roermond to Nijmegen. Veolia Transport Nederland has more than 4,000 employees. The turnover in 2005 was 231 million euros. The fleet consists of 950 public transport buses of which a total of 244 were delivered by VDL Bus & Coach.
