Coach & Bus Live, the UK’s leading interactive live event for the Bus and Coach Industry, returns to the Birmingham NEC on 10th – 11th October 2007 and already the show is attracting unprecedented interest from both exhibitors and visitors alike. Confirmed bookings by exhibitors are currently 30% up on the same period in 2005, even though the show is ten months away. These record levels mean that there is a real prospect of Halls 17 and 18 and part 19 being full to capacity at the Birmingham NEC. Over 75% of space has already been sold following the official launch of Coach & Bus Live in November 2006 and the organisers are preparing to deliver another quality UK industry show. Exhibition space is on sale and bookings are coming in on a daily basis. The Show Organisers have announced that they will not be securing any additional space at the NEC to meet any extra potential demand. Mark Griffin explains: “Coach & Bus Live 2005 was an outstanding show and one of the main reasons for this was that we deliberately capped the size to keep the event intensive and focused on the Live elements of the Bus and Coach industry. For 2007, to meet demand, we have increased space by just an additional 10% and will be occupying Halls 17 and 18 and some of 19 at the Birmingham NEC. However we will not be increasing this any further and potential exhibitors need to be aware that when we are sold out, we will not be able to accept any more bookings. The 2005 event worked very well so there is no reason to do anything major to change this successful format” As well as over 75% of re-bookings already secured from exhibitors, there is a growing interest from new companies, reflecting the consistent growth of this leading UK show. Kromě toho jsme byli i mediálním partnerem nedávno skončeného EURO BUS EXPO v Birminghamu a spolupracujeme i s BUSWORLDEM. Vybrané materiály uveřejňujeme i s anglickou verzí. Pokud byste měli cestu okolo, určitě i zajímavé autobusy určené pro náročný a luxusní arabský trh uvidíte od 27. do 30.11.2006 na Dubajském autodromu při "The Middle East International Commercial Vehicle Show" Redakce BUSportálu raději pojede v pondělí do TEZASu v Satalicích podívat se na autokary z Irisbusu, ve středu do Litomyšle setkat se s dopravci z asociace ADSSF a ve čtvrtek do Libchav navštívit novou lakovnu. Bez účinné podpory partnerů a vystavovatelů by se nikdy podobná výstava nemohla uskutečnit.

Je to nový fenomén v oblasti výstavnictví, kdy při snaze o zachování odborného charakteru jsou vtaženi do centra aktivního dění výstavy nejen vystavovatelé, ale i odborná veřejnost a dopravci. Cílem je postupně vytvořit fungující mechanismus, složený právě z těchto segmentů, které se podílejí na vytváření struktury hromadné veřejné dopravy. Partnerem se pro letošní rok stala asociace dopravců Středočeského kraje ADSSS, přítomnost „generálů“ dopravy v čele s prezidentem Ing. Františkem Neterdou byla pozitivním přínosem a posunula vážnost celého projektu kupředu. Poděkovaní pak patří zejména také partnerům, kteří svým úsilím formou celoroční kampaně přispěli ke zdaru uskutečnění výstavy. Český i slovenský Busportál, ČSAD SVT, Česmad Bohemia a měsíčník Transport magazín jsou ti, kteří na tomto mají největší podíl zásluh. Zástupci Ministerstva dopravy a Krajského úřadu Středočeského kraje slavnostně zahájili výstavu, a tím také významně přispěli k postupnému získávání prestiže nového projektu. Autor a koordinátor bloku odborných seminářů a prezentací RNDr. Jan Kotík se zhostil režie a moderování s bravurní lehkostí a jeho všudypřítomnost vytvářela skvělou atmosféru. I jemu patří upřímný dík. Končí pouze jedna kapitola, před organizátory výstavy je mnoho další práce s přípravou příštího ročníku. Neznamená to však, že tím končí komunikace mezi organizátory a veřejností, naopak, pravidelně budeme po celý rok přinášet zprávy na internetových stránkách v rubrice Aktuálně. V současné době se připravuje další číslo elektronické i tištěné podoby výstavního zpravodaje, které bude obsahovat reportáže a postřehy z výstavy. Čo sa dalo vidieť na tohtoročnej špecializovanej výstave vo Viedni?

Autobusové highlighty Mercedes-Benz a Setra, ktoré boli prvýkrát prezentované na výstave úžitkových vozidiel IAA Nutzfahrzeuge v Hannoveri. Okrem toho: - Rozsiahla prezentácia jazdených autobusov všetkých značiek v jednom areáli, - Aktuálna servisná ponuka od OMNIplus /značka popredajných služieb pre Mercedes-Benz a Setra/. V nasledovnej fotoreportáži pohľad do výstavnej haly, k jednotlivým autobusom sa budeme vracať postupne.

Netradičně dáváme na úvod reportážní přednost lidem na výstavě před exponáty.

Pro výstavu je charakteristická neformální a přátelská atmosféra daná koncentrací lidí, kteří mají autobusy a vše okolo nich opravdu rádi. Snažili jsme se zachytit právě tuto atmosféru, samozřejmě, že nebylo v silách dokumentovat všechny. Od zítřka začneme uveřejňovat autobusové snímky.
