(CZ + EN) Irisbus Iveco delivers 35 Citelis to the Slovakian capital, Bratislava
Společnost Irisbus Iveco dodala v září a říjnu 2009 celkem 35 nízkopodlažních autobusů Citelis slovenskému dopravci Dopravní podnik Bratislava a.s. . Vozidla byla oficielně předána na Hviezdoslavově náměstí primátorovi města a zástupcům dopravce.
Dvanáctimetrová vozidla jsou určená pro 106 cestujících (26 sedících) a dva invalidní vozíky. Autobusy jsou osazeny dieselovým motorem Iveco Cursor 8 s emisní normou EEV.
Nákup 35 Citelisů umožní bratislavskému dopravnímu podniku kompletovat obnovu v této délkové kategorii s dosažením nižší spotřeby paliva spolu s lepším výkonem, snížením emisní zátěže a zvýšením pohodlí cestujících.
V roce 2008 prodalo Irisbus Iveco na Slovensko celkem 447 autobusů a autokarů se 70% podílem na slovenském trhu. Navzdory letošní recesi v automobilovém průmyslu očekává Irisbus Iveco prodeje vyšší než 400 vozidel a další nárůst podílu na trhu.
Citelis je jedním z nejúspěšnějších městských autobusů v Evropě.
The vehicles are 12 m long and can carry 106 people, of which 26 are seated and 2 can dispose of a specific space for wheelchairs. The buses are diesel, mainly powered with the Iveco EEV Cursor 8 engine.
The purchase of 35 Citelis allows Bratislava Transport Company to complete the fleet renewal in this vehicle length category, achieving better consumption and performances, lower pollution and more comfort for passengers.
In 2008 Irisbus Iveco sold 447 buses and coaches in Slovakia, achieving a market share of 70%. Despite this year's recession in the automotive industry, Irisbus Iveco expects once again sales exceeding 400 vehicles and a market share further increase.
Citelis is one of the most successful city buses in Europe.

Irisbus Iveco, second largest bus and coach manufacturer in Europe, delivered in September and October 2009 a total of 35 low-floor Citelis buses to the public transport company Dopravní Podnik Bratislava a.s. The vehicles were officially handed over in Hviezdoslavovo Square in Bratislava to the Mayor of the city and the Transport Company representatives.The vehicles are 12 m long and can carry 106 people, of which 26 are seated and 2 can dispose of a specific space for wheelchairs.
